Fellow Freedom-Loving and Brave Compatriots,
The uprising of Husayni Ashura is not merely a historical commemoration; it is a thunderous cry resonating through the ages against tyranny and oppression. The uprising of Imam Husayn (AS) stands as an enduring testament of resistance against tyrants—a profound lesson meant to awaken slumbering consciences to rise against falsehood.
Today, we mark this epic symbol of defiance while our beloved Afghanistan remains captive in the clutches of an ignorant and oppressive group.
Through their tyrannical policies, the Taliban have stripped our people of their fundamental individual and social freedoms. Justice has been put to death in our homeland, and human dignity—the supreme divine gift—is trampled daily under the boots of this despotic regime.
They seek to extinguish the light of knowledge and awareness, casting the shadow of ignorance and servitude over our nation.
Within the "National Independence Front of Afghanistan," inspired by the core spirit of the Karbala movement, we are fighting with all our might for the freedom, justice, and restoration of the human dignity of our people.
The courageous fighters of our Front have not emerged from foreign shores; they have risen from the very heart of this society, born out of your shared pain and suffering. They are selflessly laying down their lives to defend our national values, sovereignty, and independence.
O brave and freedom-seeking nation! Ashura teaches us that silence in the face of tyranny is unacceptable. Today, the crisis in Afghanistan demands that we stand and live "Husayn-like" against oppression. Remaining silent amidst these ongoing injustices and atrocities is nothing less than complicity with the oppressor. Let us draw inspiration from the eternal and revolutionary message of Ashura, unite as one in a single front against this brutal regime, and once again hoist the banner of truth, justice, and liberty across this historic land.
Our path is the path of truth and national liberation, and victory ultimately belongs to a nation that refuses to bow its head to ignorance and tyranny.
